On 15 March 2014 Osaka City University celebrated the 40^th anniversary of the opening of the OCU Hakuba Seminar House in Hakuba-mura, Nagano Prefecture.

34 guests attended the celebration, including OCU President Nishizawa, Director of Student Affairs Tomizawa, alumni who were closely involved in the establishment 40 years ago and many active users of the seminar house from over the years.

During the party following the official ceremony the participants, young and old, exchanged many fond memories of the times spent at the seminar house.
