The Kansai Urban Banking Corporation has made a total of 10 million yen available in subsidies for joint research projects of Osaka City University (OCU) with Small and Medium Sized technological companies based in the Kansai region. Each project is eligible for a grant of 2 million yen. 

OCU and the Kansai Urban Banking Corporation signed a university-industry collaboration agreement in March of this year to support and promote joint research projects that can contribute to the local industry and economy.
