On 20 November 2014 the newly appointed Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Duc Binh met with Osaka City University President Nishizawa. They discussed the presence of the Vietnamese international students currently studying at OCU and future possibilities for exchange projects with various universities in Vietnam.
