Automatic external defibrillator or AED lecture for members in sports clubs and circles was carried out at Health and Medical Service Center in OCU on January 10, 2018. 12 students in men and women participated the lecture. The training session started from the nurse’s words in the Center that what you are needed for saving a life in time-sensitive situations is not special knowledge or advanced technique. The most important thing is your brave action to save somebody in front of you. The lecture focused on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (chest compression) which is classified into basic life support and defibrillation by AED. The participants seriously worked on the training and will take advantage of this experience if they face a serious situation.
