Homecoming Day was held at the Osaka City University (OCU) Bangkok Office on Friday, 24 August, 2018. It became an international reunion attended by OCU Vice President Hiroyuki Sakuragi as well as 10 Japanese alumni, and Professor Bussakom from Chulalongkorn University where OCU Bangkok Office is located, as a guest. Dr Sakuragi reported updates on OCU and talked about cooperation with the Bangkok Office to deepen a friendship.

On Sunday, 26 August they participated in the exhibition “Study in Japan Fair” organized by Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). The fair drew a total of 2,085 visitors who wish to study at universities in Japan and OCU held individual meetings for possible applicants to its each faculty and graduate school. Through this event the number of applicants is expected to increase.
