Between 6 and 10 November 2012 Osaka City University (OCU) participated in the 2012 China International Industry Fair held in Shanghai. The fair is the largest international industry fair in China and this was the third consecutive time that OCU participated.

To emphasize the high level of urban studies at our university, OCU introduced some of its recent research results under the theme of ‘Urban Studies - Smart City projects’. The projects, presented through poster and product exhibits, are by OCU researchers and industry-university collaborations. Current OCU students from China were present to explain the projects and the research strengths of OCU to visitors.
