On the occasion of the 35^th anniversary of the sister-city relationship between Melbourne and Osaka, Mr. Ian Kearney of RMIT University in Melbourne visited Osaka City University on 24 March 2014.

Mr. Kearney had a meeting with the OCU Global Exchange Office and the Industry Liaison Promotion Office to explore possibilities for future cooperation.

After the meeting Mr. Kearney visited the OCU Incubator where university-research spin-off companies develop their products and ideas. One of the companies currently using the incubator facilities, KsLABO, gave a demonstration of its very promising products.
