On 2 April 2015 a television crew from Ho Chi Minh City Television visited the OCU Faculty of Medicine. They came to shoot a program on Vietnamese talent working abroad and the advanced medical education offered by our Faculty of Medicine.

First, Dr. Le Thi Thanh Thuy, Special Appointment Research Associate in the OCU Graduate School of Medicine Department of Hepatology was interviewed. She was filmed in the Graduate School building, shown carrying out research and instructing students.

Next, Professor Kawada of the Department of Hepatology was interviewed. He spoke about advances in the treatment of hepatitis and about the activities of Dr. Le. The TV crew then met with Professor Arakawa, Dean of the Graduate School of Medicine, with whom they talked about the medical education and international exchange activities of our university.

Following the interviews, the television crew visited MedCity21 (Osaka City University Hospital Division of Premier Preventive Medicine, on the 21st floor of the Abeno Harukas Building. They showed deep interest, as there are not yet many medical examination facilities that are as advanced as this in Ho Chi Minh City.

The program will be broadcast in Vietnam at the end of April or the beginning of May. The Faculty and Graduate School of Medicine would happily welcome similar requests from other international media.
