On 12 August, Professor Feiya Tao, Professor Hong Guo, Professor Weihua Yang and Professor Zhihui Zhang of Shanghai University visited Osaka City University.

For Professor Tao it was the second time to visit OCU. Prof. Zhang studied Japanese Modern History at the OCU Graduate School of Literature and Human Sciences and has since been of extreme value in stimulating the friendly relations between Shanghai University and OCU.

The delegation first met with OCU Vice President Inoue for about one hour on the 10^th floor of the Media Center. This meeting was followed by a visit to the OCU University History Archives, to exchange experience and advice on the preservation of historical materials. The group also browsed through the OCU collection which includes materials related to the university’s predecessors.
