On 28 August 2016 the OCU Bangkok Office participated in the Study in Japan fair organized by JASSO at the Bangkok Convention Center. The event drew a total of 3426 visitors, a considerable increase from the fairs in 2014 and 2015.

In combination with the Study in Japan fair a special Alumni Dinner, attended by OCU Vice President Touru Inoue, was organized on 26 August in order to strengthen ties with OCU alumni in Thailand.
