On Monday 29 October 2018 Rector Ir. Muhammad Anis and Dean of Faculty of Engineering Ir. Hendri Dwi S. Budiono from University of Indonesia (UI), in Indonesia, visited Osaka City University (OCU) to conclude a university-wide academic exchange agreement. The signing ceremony took place in the OCU Abeno Campus.

When President Arakawa visited UI earlier in October this year, possibilities for future exchange was positively discussed, which has lead conclusion of the official agreement this time.

After the signing ceremony they confirmed each other to promote future constructive academic exchanges of both universities.
