Media Center at the Sugimoto Campus, Osaka City University (OCU) will be closed from Wednesday 4 March 2020 to Friday 20 March 2020 to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

The following services will be altered during this period:

1. Due dates for books that have been checked out from the Media Center, Sugimoto Campus
Due dates are extended until Thursday 26 March, for any items to be returned during above period. 

2. Pick up dates for reserved materials
For reserved books also, pick-up dates during above period are extended until Thursday 26 March.
Due dates for materials obtained from the laboratories will be Thursday 26 March.

3. Books and copies obtained from other universities
The service counter on the 2^nd floor is available from 9am to 5pm thru Mon. to Fri., for pick-ups of books from other universities.  You need to use the staff entrance, nearby Faculty of Engineering, to inform the security guard.

4. To return books
Please use the return posts, at the front entrance and or staff entrance.
ATTENTION: For materials enclosed with fragile appendixes, e.g. CDs, or books obtained from other universities, please do not use the return posts. Instead: 

1. The service counter on the 2^nd floor is available from 9am to 5pm thru Mon. to Fri., for
   returning these kinds of materials and books.  You need to ask the security guard by the staff entrance near the Faculty of Engineering to access to the 2^nd floor.
2. Or you can just leave the materials with the security guard at the staff entrance.

You can still receive reserved materials, off campus document copies and interlibrary borrowing materials during the temporary closed period. Please come to the Medical School Branch Business Office, located on the 9^th floor of Abeno MEDIX from 9am to 5pm thru Mon. to Fri. We apologize for the inconvenience.
