The Futaba Festival and the Boat Race have been cancelled.

To prevent the spread of the COVID19 virus, “The 15^th Futaba Festival”, a festival to welcome new students, which was scheduled for 18 and 19 April as well as “the 129^th Boat Race” scheduled for 16 and 17 May on the Okawa River, Sakuranomiya, have been cancelled.

Each committee member spent a lot of time to prepare for these two annual events that have been enjoyed not only by OCU students but also by many people. The decision to cancel was made because we cannot predict when the spread of the novel coronavirus will end. Your understanding is very much appreciated.

We hope to see everyone at “The 70^th Ginnan (Gingko) Festival” scheduled in fall from 31 October to 3 November and “The Boat Race” in 2021.
