“The 128^th Osaka City University (OCU) Boat Race” was held on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May, 2019 on the Okawa River, between Genpachi Bridge and Shinsakuranomiya Bridge.

The opening ceremony started with the fanfare of the concert band, and the live art by the art club Seitokai as well as dance and musical performance by the cheering squad boosted excitement to the opening. 

The races which started with the special race by the president and board members, were participated by the current students, faculties, staffs and alumni. The events were also joined by the citizens on Sunday 19th and heated matches took place with enthusiastic cheers by the audience.

This Boat Race was not successful without support of the OCU Education Supporters Association and China National Tourism Administration.
