Osaka City University is in the process of applying for approval for the establishment of the University of Osaka (tentative name) to open in April 2022. Entrance fees for 2022 are scheduled as follows. (excluding transfer students)

Note: The category "Osaka residents and their children" applies to the following persons who have completed the prescribed procedures and have been approved. 

　Eligibility: The applicant or the applicant's father or mother, who is a member of the same family register as the applicant, has been registered as a resident of Osaka Prefecture for at least one year prior to the date of admission (in the case of April 2022 admission, prior to April 1, 2021). The same requirements apply to those who do not have Japanese nationality. 

A certificate of residence (for all applicants) and a document certifying the same family register (such as an extract from the family register) must have been issued on or after the first day of the month that includes the date of application. 

※ The entrance fee must be paid by the time admission procedures are started. Fees already paid will not be refunded.
　(Under the school support system, if there is an exemption or reduction of the entrance fee, the amount of the reduction or exemption will be refunded.)
