In June 2021, the registration for the trademark and design of Shikichao,(meaning “Let us divide!”) a portable partition designed by President Arakawa was completed.

　Shikichao was conceived by President Arakawa prior to the start of classes in the second semester of last year, when he was thinking about how to conduct face-to-face classes safely amid concerns about the spread of COVID-19. He asked a manufacturer in Higashi-Osaka to produce it.

　The product is easy to assemble and weighs only 180 grams.
It is a product that reflects the President's desire to make students feel safe and secure during their opportunities to study on campus.
