On May 14, 2021, OCU signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kwame Nkrumah University in Zambia, with whom we have been in close communication for some years. The signing ceremony was held at the National Science Center of the Ministry of General Education in the Republic of Zambia with representatives of both the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of General Education in attendance. It was broadcasted on Zambia national television.

Kwame Nkrumah University, a comprehensive university, was originally an educational training school established immediately after the independence of the Republic of Zambia in 1964. We have already welcomed several students to our online short-term training program (SIGLOC: Socially Innovative Global Classroom) promoted by our COIL office. We are excited for future academic exchanges this signing represents.
