Winners selected for 8th Osaka City University Okamura Prize for Female Researchers

Recipients of the 8th Osaka City University Special Award for Female Researchers and Encouragement Prize [Okamura Prize] have been selected
Osaka City University established the Okamura Prize in 2014 as part of its efforts to foster and educate the next generation of female researchers. The Okamura Prize was established with a donation from Ms. Chieko Okamura (graduated in 1950), who was the first female student to enter Osaka University of Commerce, the predecessor of our university.
The purpose of the award is to encourage continuous research activities and to foster the next generation of female researchers by honoring current female researchers who have conducted outstanding research and educational activities and have ambitiously contributed to the promotion of gender equality at the university.
As a result of a rigorous selection process, the following four individuals were chosen as this year's recipients.
